Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 21, 2026
Scope and operator
This policy explains how Auto Publisher, operated by 遠汐科技(香港)有限公司 in Hong Kong, China, handles information when a user connects and publishes to their own YouTube channel.
本政策说明由遠汐科技(香港)有限公司在中国香港运营的 Auto Publisher,在用户连接并发布到自己的 YouTube 频道时如何处理信息。
Information processed
After a user grants access through Google OAuth, the application processes the YouTube channel ID and channel name, OAuth access and refresh tokens, and the video files and publishing metadata submitted by the user. Publishing metadata may include title, description, tags, category, thumbnail, visibility, audience setting, language, license, synthetic media disclosure, subscriber notification preference, and publishing time.
The application also stores local task status, upload progress, resumable upload data, the resulting YouTube video ID, processing status, and diagnostic error information.
用户通过 Google OAuth 主动授权后,应用会处理 YouTube 频道 ID、频道名称、OAuth 令牌、用户选择的视频文件及发布设置,并在本地保存任务状态、上传进度、视频 ID 和必要的错误信息。
Purpose of processing
Information is used only to display the authorized channel, execute publishing tasks explicitly created by the user, resume interrupted uploads, apply user-selected metadata, check the processing state of uploads made through Auto Publisher, prevent duplicate submissions, and provide task diagnostics.
Auto Publisher does not sell Google or YouTube user data, use it for advertising profiles, read unrelated channel activity, or publish content that the user has not selected and confirmed.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Auto Publisher's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
The application uses YouTube API Services. Users of YouTube features are also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and should review the Google Privacy Policy.
Storage, security, and sharing
OAuth tokens and resumable upload records are stored on the user's own Windows device and encrypted with Windows DPAPI. Channel authorization and tasks are separated by the publishing environment selected by the user.
Data required to authenticate, upload, set a thumbnail, or check processing status is transmitted to Google and YouTube APIs. Network traffic may pass through the proxy configured by the user for the selected browser environment. Auto Publisher does not sell or share YouTube user data with advertising platforms, data brokers, or unrelated third parties.
Retention and refresh
OAuth credentials are retained only while the user keeps the channel connected. Channel metadata is refreshed from day 29. If it cannot be refreshed by day 30, locally stored YouTube authorization data is removed and unfinished tasks are stopped. YouTube video IDs kept for completed-task diagnostics are removed after 30 days.
When a user disconnects and clears a channel, Auto Publisher requests Google token revocation and removes locally stored tokens, channel identifiers, OAuth sessions, task history, and resumable upload records associated with that channel.
频道数据从第 29 天开始尝试刷新;到第 30 天仍无法刷新时,应用会清除本地 YouTube 授权数据并停止未完成任务。已完成任务中用于诊断的视频 ID 也会在 30 天后删除。
User choices and deletion
Users can revoke Auto Publisher from Google Account connections. They can also use the application's Disconnect and Clear action to revoke access and delete local data. Full instructions are available on the data deletion page.
Revoking access does not automatically delete videos that have already been published to YouTube. The user manages those videos in YouTube Studio.
